### How Card Vault Works

- Your customers enter their card data via an iframe and you get a token (redirection also supported). 
- You can choose the tokenization format:  
  **Fixed arbitrary token:** UUID based  
  **Format-preserving token:** A Luhn passable token that uses the first six and last four digits of the original card number with random digits in the middle.

 

- The token is then used through our smart proxy services that allow for integration with all the merchant processors that you need (one or many)
- Options:  
  **Payment gateway whitelisting**  
  **Raw card access** (to limit your scope, off by default)  
  **Use as your secure checkout**  
  **Card forms and checkout page available in all major languages **
